Stories fascinate me—the tales we hear and absorb give meaning to the world, help it make sense, foster empathy, and build connections across divides. Stories have the power to change the way we experience the world.

An English major at UCLA, I lived in a world of different stories and perspectives in one of the most colorful cities in the world. I built on that experience in Peace Corps Ukraine - experiencing, for the first time, the exported brand of my home country abroad. As the narrator, I had the unique experience of understanding my audience, the brand, the content, how the story was told—and the power the narrator can wield.

My infatuation with stories has grown since those days, and I’ve been lucky enough to make it my career.

Rapid Response & Crisis Communications Led real-time crisis communications during federal policy negotiations and economic crises — including coordinating national and state press strategy under compressed timelines and reporting directly to executive leadership and board.
